Green Leaves

Sofia has always been attracted to health and the kitchen. Since very young, she was always very active, played many sports, attended yoga since she was 9 years of age, and each time she could she would be in the kitchen learning the tricks from her family.

Though she decided to follow the Arts in college, her passion always pursued her. from 2000 onwards, she finally decided to venture into the health studies and volunteered as a recipe tester and developer, at Molina Healthcare to help battered women make better decisions in how to grocery shopping on a tight budget and how to prepare wholesome meals, and at local organic farms.

In 2013 she took her first step in the health education, getting a certification in plant-based nutrition from Cornell University and T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, followed by

A certification in plant-based pro chef, and in 2025 finalized her Holistic Health Coach certificate from IIN, NY.

Since, she has been helping many women and breast cancer survivor, coaching them to make better lifestyle choices along with health experts from a variety of fields, such as PT instructors, nutritionists, psychologists.

As the culinary field was always important to Sofia, and she knew that as a health coach, she was not a nutritionist, she decided to further her education by enrolling herself in 2023 for a bachelor in Sciences of Nutrition at Atlântica University.
